How do I
arrange for service ?

Q. What if I
only want a one time cleaning?
A.
We are happy to do one time
cleanings.
Q. Can I have
regular cleanings the same day each week?
A.
Absolutely! If we happen
to be booked solid for the day you have chosen we will find another
date that will work for you.
Q. How long
does a cleaning take?
A.
We do it right! Please allow for
3 hours for your specialized apartment cleaning and 5 hours for a
house cleaning over 1200sq. feet.
Q. How many
days do I need to book in advance?
A.
We like to schedule 7 days in
advance but will do our best to accommodate you if you have short
notice cleaning needs.
Q.
What if I am not
satisfied with the cleaning that was done?
A.
If something is not done
to your satisfaction, call us within 24 hours and we will come
back to your home to correct the problem.
Q.
Is it
safe to give you a key to my home?
A.
Should you entrust us with a key
to your home, we will protect your security. Your key will be
identified by a number only; no name or address will be used. Thus
should we lose your key no one will know what it is for. We keep the
key in a locked case. The key is removed on your cleaning day,
placed in a pouch in the maids book, returned after the cleaning and
placed back in the locked case.
Q. Do you
provide your own cleaning supplies?
A.
Yes, we do! (except laundry
detergent) if you have subscribed to
extra laundry service
please leave your laundry detergent on your washing machine.
If you would like
us to use YOUR cleaning supplies, please leave them on your
kitchen counter.

Q. Do you
provide your own vacuum cleaner?
A.
No,
We ask that you leave your vacuum cleaner, broom and mop out in
plain view so we have easy access to them to clean your home.
Q. Do you
always send the same person?
A.
We strive to send the same
person, however, that is not always possible. Vacations, illness,
etc. may mean that from time to time we might have to substitute a
cleaner. We will clean your home on your scheduled day regardless.
Q. What
happens if I can't be home during the cleaning?
A.
Many of our customers are
working people who just don't have enough time in the day to do
everything. They also appreciate coming home to a clean house and
may not want to be there while we are cleaning. These customers work
out different arrangements for entry based upon their individual
situations. Most customers choose to leave their key in a hidden
area.
Q. If I have
pet(s), do I need to secure them while you are cleaning?
A.
If you are not at home while we
clean, we do ask that you introduce your pet(s) to us on the first
visit. Many of our customers also show us where the animal treats
are. This way, when we arrive at the home we give the pet(s) a treat
and go about our business. We are animal friendly. Should your pet(s)
be very protective of your home when you are away, we would ask that
you secure your pet(s).
Q.
Does Amanda accept tips?
A. Yes she does! Tips are not expected
but are very highly appreciated.
Q.
How do I
pay for Amanda Maid Services ?
A.
You may pay by Cash, Check (all checks must have drivers license #
written on top) or we can invoice you online to your email address
where you can use your credit card or paypal account. Please let us
know how you will be paying.
Q.
Do you charge a lock out fee?
A.
Yes, if we arrive to your home and we are not able to clean for any
reason, you will be charged a $25 lock out/turn away fee to pay for
their gas, mileage, and time they took to get to your home.
However, we do not charge a rescheduling fee so please call us ahead
of time if changes with your cleaning are needed.



After each cleaning, I leave a small gift
as my appreciation for allowing me to earn your
business, plus
a special comment card!
I also
guarantee the quality of my work. If you are not
happy for any reason, contact me within 24 hours and I
will come back to correct the problem.
I believe in catering to my special
clients and any comments useful for future cleanings are
added to your very own personalized cleaning
file.
